How to use BSInfo and read its data
Learn how recorded battle history, win rates, shared matches and tournament stats work, and understand their coverage and limitations.
Find the right player
Use the player tag shown on the in-game profile. A tag identifies an account even when its display name changes. If you search by name, check the tag and profile before comparing results: different players may use the same name.
Name search covers players already recorded by BSInfo. An absent search result does not by itself mean that an account does not exist. Try the tag search when you know the tag.
What battle history includes
BSInfo saves battle records it can retrieve. The history is not a guaranteed record of every battle an account has ever played. Battles from before collection started, or from a period when a source could not be reached, may be absent.
The list displays 50 matches at a time, ordered by when they were played. The summary aggregates all stored matches matching your current filters, not only the 50 cards on screen. Change the mode, brawler or date filters when comparing a specific period.
A tournament match can contain several rounds. Match counts and round counts therefore describe different things. Importing an old tournament places it at its played date; it does not make it a recent battle.
Read win rates with their sample sizes
The summary win rate is wins divided by the total number of matching recorded matches. For example, 30 wins out of 50 recorded matches is 60%. Draws and matches with an unknown result remain part of the total.
A high win rate from a few games is not enough to establish that one brawler or map is better. Compare similar modes and date ranges, check how many matches were recorded, and review the actual match cards alongside the aggregate.
Missing values and dashes are not necessarily zero. Data can be unavailable from a source, or impossible to infer for a player who was not the original owner of a saved record.
Use the tools for a specific question
Use the map and item catalogues to inspect the game data, and the pick tool to compare candidates under the selected conditions. Recommendations are aids for comparison, not a guarantee of winning; team composition, execution and later game updates still matter.
Read the pick tool’s calculation rules before treating a score as a competitive ranking. Reward simulators are illustrative simulations, not a prediction or a guarantee of what your next in-game reward will contain.
Sources, updates and corrections
BSInfo combines game API information, saved battle records, tournament-source data and game-data catalogues. Sources update at different times. Caches, source availability and save or aggregation jobs can delay what is displayed.
If data looks wrong, note the player tag, page URL, match date and the field that appears incorrect. Send those details through the contact page. Do not send passwords, login codes or API keys.
